Happy New Year!

Happy 2020 everyone! We are in beautiful Fiesole, just outside of Florence (20 minutes by bus up in the hills). We continued our tradition of banana splits for dinner on New Year’s Eve and watched the fireworks from our balcony and bedroom window. There were fireworks all over —we had a view of so many towns celebrating. After easing into the new year with coffee, a view and my book, we spent New Year’s Day exploring the Roman Amphitheater in town. This apartment has been a great find for us and we have all enjoyed our time here. Tomorrow we head to Bologna.
